UHS School Supplies
The following is a consolidated list based on feedback from teaching staff across our building on what may be beneficial for students to have to start the school year. Teachers may request additional supplies specific to their classes and will communicate this with students at the beginning of the year.
Donations of Kleenex, Expo markers and printer paper are ALWAYS appreciated and can be dropped off in the main office.
All students should have the following with them EVERY DAY to use in their classes:
- Chromebook and charger
- Pencils
- Blue or black pens
- Folders, binders, or any organization system that works for the student
- Colored pencils
- Highlighters
- Expo markers
- Index cards
- A scientific calculator that is able to do exponents (will be used in most math and science classes)
- Wired headphones that plug into Chromebook (these may not be used daily, but are required for testing)
If your student has one of the following classes, they will also need the following supplies:
All English classes
- Composition Notebook
- Sticky notes
All Spanish 1 and 2 classes
- ½” 3-ring binder
AP Calculus and/or AP Chemistry
- Graphing calculator (TI-84 Plus CE works best. TI-84 Plus CE with Python is also fine)
Manufacturing (Wood Tech 1 Class)
- Keyed padlock with 2 keys
Chorus:
- 1” Black 3-ring binder
